Northwest Michigan Health Services, Inc. in Traverse City, Michigan, seeks an HR Specialist – Talent & Workforce Development to attract, onboard, and develop staff. The role reports to the Director of Human Resources and requires in-person presence with occasional travel between NMHSI locations.

You will coordinate recruiting, onboarding, compliance training, and employee development initiatives to create a positive employee experience and support organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years in Human Resources, onboarding, or related area.
• Experience with training or development programs is preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate recruitment activities including postings, screening, interviews, and offers.
• Facilitate onboarding for new hires, interns, students, and volunteers.
• Maintain training materials, partnership with leaders, and checklists.
• Administer compliance training and generate related reports.
• Support employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and surveys.
• Assist HR projects and confidential employee records management.
