Beth Israel Lahey Health, Inc. at Exeter Hospital is seeking an on-site HR Specialist to support the HR team, managers and colleagues across onboarding, compliance and HR projects throughout the employment lifecycle.

Reporting to an HR leader, you will partner with HR Business Partners, assist with orientation for new employees, answer inquiries, promote Workday self-service and help drive continuous improvement in processes and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in HR, business administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of HR generalist experience.
• Solid understanding of HR practices, employment law and regulations.
• Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support HR Business Partners to manage the employee lifecycle.
• Model HR best practices and establish credibility at all levels.
• Advise, inform and facilitate discussions with HRBPs.
• Participate in HR projects and activities across the team.
• Assist with onboarding and orientation to ensure a positive experience.
• Respond to employee and manager inquiries with guidance on policies.
• Provide general support to HR staff for transactions and operational elements.
• Advocate Workday self-service and support staff in using it.
• Track HR metrics and prepare reports for leaders.
