Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply is seeking a Talent Specialist to support the DC's Talent team in Cartersville, GA, ensuring a capable workforce and aiding reward/benefit administration. You will engage stakeholders, manage employee records, assist with onboarding, and help drive talent strategy and culture within the DC.

You will work with the Talent Leader and leadership team to implement HR transactions, recruitment, payroll, and training, while contributing to a culture of care, safety, and excellence at

Qualifications

• 2 years of HR-related experience.
• Knowledge of general HR policies, procedures, and practices.
• Ability to build relationships across multiple operations.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Some travel and overnight trips may be required.
• Experience with investigations (accidents, harassment).
• Experience recruiting and developing a diverse team.
• Understanding of labor legislation.
• Ability to lead through change management.
• English reading, writing and speaking at a level necessary for safe and accurate work.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment initiatives to staff DC operations and coordinate interview logistics.
• Maintain HR records in the HR system and provide insights to leadership.
• Drive employee engagement across DC departments and reflect Chick-fil-A Supply values.
• Advise on employment law, performance and policies (FMLA, ADA, workers' comp, etc.).
• Run payroll administration for the DC and resolve issues.
• Ensure legal compliance with federal/state requirements with Talent Leader involvement.
• Plan and facilitate new hire orientation and training sessions.
• Support future DC openings with interview events and onboarding.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
