Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply, LLC's Distribution Center in Cartersville, GA seeks a Talent Specialist to support HR transactions, recruitment, onboarding, payroll and benefits administration, partnering with the Talent Leader to drive culture and talent strategy.

You will maintain records, handle employee inquiries, ensure compliance with federal and state laws, and help grow the DC workforce through interviews and training while upholding Chick-fil-A\'s care, safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• 2 years of HR-related experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of general HR policies, procedures, and practices.
• Ability to build relationships and influence across multiple operations.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Occasional travel, including overnight trips.
• Experience with investigations (accidents, harassment).
• Experience recruiting and developing a diverse team.
• Understanding of labor legislation.
• Ability to lead through change management.
• Ability to understand and communicate job information in English for safety and policy adherence.

Responsibilities

• Support Talent Leader in recruitment initiatives and interview logistics.
• Maintain HR records in the HR system for all staff.
• Drive employee engagement and implement culture-aligned initiatives.
• Advise on employment law, regulations, performance, and policies.
• Run payroll administration and resolve payroll issues.
• Ensure legal compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Plan and facilitate new hire orientation and training sessions.
• Participate in events for organizational growth and onboarding.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
