Job summary

The Sr. Talent Specialist at Chick-fil-A Supply DC in Lubbock, TX will support day-to-day talent team operations, ensure accurate employee records, assist recruitment and onboarding, and contribute to reward and benefits administration.

You will partner with the Talent Leader and leadership to drive talent strategy, coach managers on policy and compliance, manage inquiries, and help foster a culture of care, safety, and excellence across the distribution center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3 years HR-related experience, including at least 1 year in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of general HR policies, procedures, and practices.
• Ability to build relationships and influence others across multiple operations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Have experience with investigations including, but not limited to, accidents and harassment allegations.
• Have experience recruiting and developing a strong, diverse team.
• Be able to lead through change management.
• Proficient communicating in English (reading, writing, and speaking) to safely follow verbal instructions, complete documentation and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Support the Regional Talent Leader in recruitment initiatives and coordinate interview logistics.
• Oversee records management within the HR system for all staff and provide data insights.
• Drive employee engagement and develop initiatives to promote a culture reflecting care, safety and excellence.
• Advise team leaders on employment law, performance management, and policies (FMLA, ADA, workers' comp).
• Oversee payroll administration and resolve issues for staff and leaders.
• Maintain awareness of market-driven compensation trends in the industry.
• Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and seminars.
