Job summary

BlueWave Express Car Wash and ClearWater Express Wash in Montgomery, TX is seeking an organized HR Specialist to support onboarding, employee records, benefits administration and compliance across multiple sites. You’ll be the go-to resource for team members and managers alike, ensuring smooth in-office HR operations.

This role collaborates with talent acquisition, payroll and operations, leverages Paycom, and helps resolve employee relations issues while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• HR experience required.
• Experience with Paycom strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong organization, attention to detail and follow-through.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, approachable attitude.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• SHRM-CP, PHR or similar certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage new hire onboarding, paperwork and orientation for team members across multiple locations.
• Maintain accurate employee records and data in Paycom (HRIS).
• Process employee changes such as promotions, transfers, pay changes and terminations.
• Support benefits administration and open enrollment, and answer team member benefit questions.
• Help with employee relations issues, documentation and investigations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws (I-9s, E-Verify, labor law postings).
• Support onboarding for new site openings and acquisitions.
• Assist with HR reporting, audits and record-keeping.
• Partner with site leaders and managers on HR policies, procedures and best practices.
