Job summary

Uloop Inc. seeks an HR Assistant to provide support across HR activities from onboarding to policy administration. This Miami-based, onsite role requires daily interaction with employees and managers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining onboarding folders, updating HR records and I-9/E-Verify processes, coordinating calendars and events, and supporting the HR Director with reports and compliance tasks. Bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years’ related experience preferred.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals and governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains onboarding folders and HR, medical, workers' compensation files.
  • Maintains HR systems: personnel actions, terminations, promotions, pay rate changes, performance reviews.
  • Lead and maintain E-Verify reports and conduct I-9 audits.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs; refers decisions to HR Director.
  • Assist with accident investigations as needed.
  • Prepare separation notices and help HR Director conduct exit interviews.
  • Manage monthly employee calendars and training communications.
  • Create and host employee events.
  • Support assigned HR Manager and leadership as needed.
  • Sorts and distributes incoming emails and leads; performs additional duties as assigned.

Job Description Objective / Purpose / Summary

This position is primarily responsible for providing HR assistance to the company and administering policies relating to all phases of human resources activity by performing the following duties. Miami based onsite 5 days/ this is not a Remote or Hybrid position

Essential Duties / Responsibilities / Tasks
  • Creates and manages all new hire onboarding folders and maintains all HR, medical, personal workers compensation files.
  • Maintains HR systems by entering Personnel Actions, Terminations, Promotions, Pay rate changes and monitoring performance review status.
  • Lead and maintain all E-verify reports and conduct I9 audits.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs and refers inquiries requiring decisions to the HR Director.
  • May assist with accident investigations
  • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation in preparation for the HR Director to conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
  • In charge of monthly employee calendars and training communication
  • In charge to create and host employee events
  • Supports assigned HR Manager and leadership as needed.
  • Is responsible for sorting and distributing incoming emails and leads.
  • Will perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  7. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  8. Professional demeanor and outgoing personality with the ability to relate to diverse Clients
  9. Computer savvy (MS Office suite, Human Resources systems, Internet software, payroll systems).
  10. General knowledge of accounting.
