Hansell Tierney is partnering with a large Pacific Northwest natural resources company to hire an HR Services Specialist in Seattle. The contract role supports a centralized HR shared services team, delivering high-quality HR support across the employee lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in customer service or HR support.
• Foundational understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle events.
• Proficiency with core HRIS platforms and transaction management.
• Experience with case management and knowledge management systems.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to employee HR inquiries in a timely, professional, and empathetic manner per service standards.
• Execute employee lifecycle transactions in core HR systems with accuracy.
• Manage daily tasks and deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Handle confidential information with discretion in compliance with privacy standards.
• Collaborate with Payroll and Benefits to resolve inquiries and ensure smooth handoffs.
• Meet individual performance metrics including SLAs and KPIs.
• Escalate complex issues per defined protocol.
• Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to improvements.
• Participate in training and system updates as processes evolve.
