Job summary

Rainier Recruiting seeks an experienced HR Operations Specialist on a contract basis to cover a leave through a hybrid Bellevue, WA site. The role handles onboarding, data changes, leaves, and offboarding while supporting audits and compliance for U.S. employees and contractors.

You'll collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, IT, and Legal, shaping HR policies and testing new automation tools. The engagement runs Oct 2026–Apr/May 2027, with a start ASAP and a 3-day onsite hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR Operations experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience with high-volume lifecycle processes and HR systems.
• Knowledge of HR compliance, records management, I-9 and audits.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end employee lifecycle: onboarding, changes, promotions, leaves, offboarding, verifications.
• Serve as go-to HR Operations resource for employees, managers, and HR partners; resolve cases quickly.
• Maintain records, manage background checks, I-9, compliance, and audits.
