Job summary

Housing Connector is seeking a Recruiter & HR Generalist to help scale our People operations as we grow. You’ll own full-cycle recruiting across the organization, partners with hiring managers, shape hiring strategies, and ensure a thoughtful candidate experience.

You’ll also handle day-to-day HRIS admin, onboarding/offboarding, benefits coordination, and people programs, blending partnership with hands-on execution in a hybrid Seattle office 1–2 days per week.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or a combination of both.
• Experience owning full-cycle recruiting.
• Strong judgment and ownership.
• Ability to build credibility with hiring managers and push back when needed.
• Excellent communication, organization, prioritization, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting from intake to offer.
• Define hiring needs and develop interview processes.
• Source and engage candidates while ensuring strong candidate experience.
• Maintain recruiting data and surface risks with funnel insights.
• Keep hiring processes moving with clear accountability.
• Own day-to-day HRIS administration and employee data changes.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding.
• Support benefits administration and payroll-related changes.
• Coordinate People programs and reporting.
• Plan internal events and People initiatives.
