Job summary

Housing Connector is hiring a full-time Recruiter and HR Generalist to support hiring and day-to-day People operations in a hybrid setting in Seattle. This role combines full-cycle recruiting with HR systems ownership and ongoing improvements to People programs as the organization grows.

You will manage the full recruiting lifecycle, administer HRIS, coordinate onboarding and benefits, maintain People data, and build reporting to help the team understand its workforce and make informed decisions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of recruiting, HR, or hybrid experience with full-cycle recruiting.
• Strong judgment and ownership; know when to decide vs escalate.
• Credible with hiring managers; able to push back respectfully.
• Excellent communication, organization, prioritization, and follow-through.
• Experience using an ATS and HR systems, data, and reporting.
• Curiosity about broader HR functions and impact.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting from intake through accepted offer, including strategy and pipeline management.
• Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs and interview processes.
• Source, assess, and engage candidates with a strong candidate experience.
• Maintain recruiting data and surface risks with funnel insights.
• Administer HRIS and manage employee data changes.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding with partners for a smooth experience.
• Support benefits administration and payroll-related changes with Accounting.
• Coordinate recurring People programs like performance management and surveys.
• Build and maintain People reporting to inform decisions.
• Plan internal events and People initiatives as priorities evolve.
• Bring fresh ideas to improve recruiting and People processes.
