Job summary

Portland State University is seeking an Employee Resource Manager to oversee the HR Employee Resource Center in downtown Portland. You will supervise two full-time staff and student workers while ensuring superb customer service and accurate administrative operations.

Responsibilities include onboarding, data entry, verifications, orientation, and international documentation, plus managing purchasing, work orders, telecom, and access control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent operational experience.
• 1–3 years of lead and/or supervisory experience in HR.
• Experience with onboarding, recruiting, and HR functions.
• Ability to supervise diverse staff and promote equitable workplace.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of HR Employee Resource Center.
• Supervise two full-time employees and student staff.
• Lead onboarding, data entry, employment verifications, and personnel file compliance.
• Coordinate employee orientation and international employee documentation.
• Manage purchasing, work orders, telecommunications, and building/badge access.
