Job summary

CRITFC is seeking an organized Human Resources Partner to provide comprehensive HR services for the Columbia River tribal workforce in Portland. The role emphasizes recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits management to ensure a welcoming and compliant workplace.

You will collaborate with leadership, administer HRIS personnel actions, and guide departments on onboarding and compliance with tribal employment policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum HR experience providing full HR services (recruiting, onboarding, retention, compensation, benefits, employee relations).
• Familiarity with tribal employment law and regulations preferred.
• Experience partnering with leadership to align HR with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead full scope HR services including recruiting, onboarding, and personnel actions.
• Oversee onboarding for new hires and help departments establish onboarding protocols.
• Manage benefits open enrollment and annual compensation/benefits processes.
• Develop understanding of every CRITFC job and employee population.
• Learn and apply treaties and regulations applicable to tribal employment law.
