Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of HR experience with hands-on handling of workers' compensation, recruiting and benefits.
• Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing equal employment opportunity and civil rights, occupational safety and health, wage and hour issues, and labor relations.
• Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS applications; Paycom and/or ADP experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Participates in hiring by sourcing and interviewing candidates and ensuring right to work in the US (I-9).
• Administers property benefit plans and audits billings for accuracy.
• Maintains team member files and compliance with Privacy Act.
• Provides guidance on policies, health and welfare benefits, compensation, and leaves.
• Assists with Workers’ Compensation claims and safety communications.
• Supports training, orientation, and engagement activities.
• Handles leave administrations (FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA) and maintains accurate records.
