The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior HR Generalist / HR Manager who thrives in a hands‑on, high‑impact environment. In this role, you will partner closely with the Senior Director of HR and leadership team to support employees across multiple states. The position focuses on HR operations, compliance, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle management.

This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys building structure, managing compliance, and supporting both field and corporate teams.

Core HR Leadership

• Own full‑cycle HR operations (onboarding through offboarding)
• Administer benefits, manage open enrollment, and oversee reporting/audits
• Lead leave management (FMLA, ADA, state programs), workers’ comp, and unemployment
• Ensure compliance across California and multi‑state employment laws
• Manage HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) and support payroll coordination
• Partner on employee relations matters and documentation

Additional Contributions

• Support the rollout of HR policies and programs
• Participate in HR strategy discussions and execution
• Maintain notary certification (within 3 months)
• Stay current on HR trends and compliance developments

What We’re Looking For

• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience (Generalist / HR Manager level)
• Strong California employment law expertise (multi‑state a plus)
• HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP)
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or a similar HRIS
• Proven ability to operate both strategically and tactically
• Excellent communication, judgment, and problem‑solving skills

• Base Salary: $110,000 — $120,000
