SERVPRO of Richmond, Chesterfield, Henrico, and Tri-Cities in Midlothian, VA seeks an experienced Payroll & HR Coordinator to join our team.

You will oversee bi-weekly payroll, timekeeping, HR operations, benefits administration, and HRIS data integrity, delivering accurate payroll and responsive HR support to employees and managers. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of payroll and/or HR experience, preferably in a 50+ employee organization.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with HRIS platforms preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and follow-through skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information appropriately.
• Comfortable learning and working within multiple technology platforms and systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); QuickBooks preferred.
• Ability to research discrepancies and escalate when needed.
• Background check may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Support bi-weekly payroll processing including timekeeping and payroll adjustments.
• Review payroll information, complete reconciliations, and post-payroll activities.
• Assist employees and managers with payroll questions while maintaining confidential records.
• Maintain employee records across HRIS, payroll, benefits, and timekeeping systems.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, verifications, HR reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Provide timely HRIS and employee information support.
• Coordinate benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and Open Enrollment activities.
• Manage leaves of absence documentation and communications.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation documentation, reporting, and follow-up.
• Support HRIS updates and projects to improve payroll/HR processes.
