Job summary

Premier Automotive & Toyota of New Orleans is seeking a Human Resources Manager in New Orleans, LA. The role partners with the Controller to ensure company procedures are followed, handles employee issues, processes payroll, and supports the full employee life cycle.

Key duties include compiling payroll data, updating records, preparing paychecks, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Qualifications

• Payroll processing experience is required.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Experience in an automotive dealership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile payroll data (hours, sales, bonuses, taxes) from records.
• Process payroll and issue paychecks.
• Maintain confidential information and records.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Adjust master payroll records for exemptions and increases.
• Prepare periodic earnings, tax, and deduction reports.
• Maintain PTO and sick day records.
