Premier Automotive & Toyota of New Orleans is seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager to partner with the Controller, ensuring policy adherence and handling employee relations across the life cycle.

You will manage payroll processing, confidential data, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws, while supporting benefits, recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning in a busy automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll processing and HR administration.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws.
• Proven leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Experience with investigations into employee issues.
• Familiarity with talent acquisition, onboarding and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Compile payroll data from time sheets and records.
• Update master payroll records and process changes.
• Prepare and issue paychecks; maintain leave records.
• Investigate employee issues and manage relations.
