Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR/Payroll Coordinator experience in a long-term care environment
• Knowledge of employment, wage and hour laws and regulations
• Recruitment and background check experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Prepare all required payroll documentation accurately and timely
• Perform pre-employment background checks and license/certification verifications
• Coordinate recruiting/staffing to ensure adequate staffing and retention using local resources
• Support orientation by explaining payroll policies and procedures
• Maintain timely personnel and electronic files
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team on compensation trends and wage surveys
