Job summary

Calhoun Convalescent Center is seeking a Human Resources / Payroll Coordinator to support all HR and payroll functions for facility employees under the Administrator's direction. This role ensures accurate processing and adherence to policy in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities include processing payroll, coordinating background checks and license verifications, assisting with recruitment and staff orientation, maintaining personnel files, and monitoring wage trends to stay competitive

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR/Payroll Coordinator experience in long-term care preferred.
• 1+ years in recruitment and retention preferred.
• KRONOS payroll experience required.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare payroll documents and process payroll accurately and timely.
• Conduct pre-employment background checks and license verifications.
• Coordinate recruitment and staffing to ensure adequate coverage.
• Assist staff orientation and explain payroll and policies.
• Maintain personnel files and related documentation.
• Monitor local wage trends and stay competitive through wage surveys.
