Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of HR generalist or related experience.
• 2-year college degree or equivalent; BA preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws.
• Knowledge of HR best practices.
• Strong research, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience processing payroll.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Guide on company policies, procedures, programs, benefits, and payroll questions.
• Manage comprehensive leave of absence programs (FMLA, ADA, STD/LTD) to ensure compliance and proper documentation.
• Oversee talent acquisition: postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, job offers, onboarding experiences.
• Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS.
• Analyze metrics to update leadership on trends.
• Manage monthly benefit invoice audits, funding, and vendor resolutions.
• Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll: timecard reviews, journal entries, garnishments, and FOC orders; lead benefits administration.
• Support training coordination and process-improvement initiatives; ensure punctuality and attendance.
