Job summary

Seattle YMCA seeks an HR Specialist, Operations to optimize HR systems and processes. You will collaborate across HR to streamline recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and performance management, while maintaining an annual HR calendar and handling budgeting support.

Responsibilities include data analysis for planning, leading process reviews, and ensuring confidential handling of payroll and personnel records. This role fosters equity and effective teamwork within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of related HR experience preferred.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with diverse populations and inclusive practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR teams to map and improve workflows in recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and performance management.
• Maintain a yearly MOS calendar across HR areas.
• Flag issues and deadlines to staff; manage communication.
• Project manage annual HR processes and trainings.
• Analyze HR data for strategic planning and reporting.
• Lead periodic reviews of HR processes and procedures.
• Support budget maintenance and department expenses.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel records and payroll data.
