Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking an experienced HR leader to guide staffing, employee relations, and training across plant operations. This role works at strategic and hands-on levels to ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations.

You will drive recruitment, coaching, and development initiatives, oversee salary/admin processes, and mentor leaders while ensuring workplace safety and effective HR operations at scale.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive HR experience.
• Minimum one year in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to HR team to implement staffing and employee relations.
• Coach leaders and staff on conflict resolution and compliance with laws.
• Drive recruitment, selection, and succession planning for internal customers.
• Manage salaried recruitment including interviewing with leadership.
• Issue job offers and ensure HR letters are signed in Workday.
• Deliver HR training on performance counseling and employee relations.
• Lead initiatives in engagement, diversity, and change management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency.
