Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking an HR Manager to join the leadership team supporting a two-line processing plant, feed mill and hatchery. You will develop strategic human capital programs and standardize processes to ensure compliance with company guidelines and legal requirements.

You will lead staffing, employee relations, training, succession planning and KPI-driven HR initiatives in collaboration with Corporate HR, Legal and Compliance teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive HR experience, manufacturing preferred.
• Leadership history with policy implementation and compliance.
• Experience in staffing, employee relations, and training programs.
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Strong communication and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of complex human capital policies and programs.
• Guide HR team to ensure staffing, regulatory processes and employee relations.
• Partner with leaders to influence decisions on compensation, training, and performance.
• Provide HR-related training on performance counseling and relations issues.
• Mitigate risk through collaboration with Legal and Compliance teams.
• Drive recruitment, succession planning, and talent development strategies.
• Analyze data to identify organizational needs and drive proactive solutions.
• Mentor and coach employees; promote career development and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with union agreements and resolution of grievances.
