Job summary

Butcher Power Products is seeking an HR Manager to lead HR Operations, employee relations, compliance, benefits, leave administration, payroll coordination, and service delivery. You will supervise a growing team and partner with leaders across Operations, Engineering, Finance, Safety, Training, Recruiting, and executive leadership.

You will oversee HR processes, establish scalable practices, and drive operational excellence to support a fast-growing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR/related field.
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience.
• 3+ years in HR leadership or management.
• Strong employee relations and investigations experience.
• Solid knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR Operations Team: coach and develop team, set service standards, improve workflows.
• Own Employee Relations & Manager Support: escalate concerns, investigations, coaching on performance and documentation.
• Lead Compliance & Risk Management: ensure compliance with employment laws, manage audits and policy implementation.
• Oversee Benefits, Leave & Payroll Administration: manage benefits, leave, payroll data, and records accuracy.
• Improve Systems, Processes & Service Delivery: partner on HR systems, governance, reporting, and scalable policies.
• Partner with the Business: assist workforce planning, onboarding, and development programs.
• Manage Vendors & External Partnerships: oversee Insperity and other HR vendor relationships.
