Job summary

Butcher Power Products is seeking an HR Manager to lead HR Operations and establish scalable systems as the company grows. You will oversee employee relations, payroll coordination, benefits, and compliance, building processes that support managers and employees nationwide.

You will lead a small HR team, partner with leaders across Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Recruiting, and drive data-driven improvements while navigating California employment law and complex benefits programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• 3+ years of HR leadership or team management experience.
• Strong understanding of California employment law and HR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR Operations team and set service standards.
• Oversee employee relations, investigations, and manager coaching.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Manage benefits, leave, payroll coordination, and data accuracy.
• Improve HR systems, processes, and service delivery.
• Partner with business leaders on workforce planning and development.
