Job summary

Addison Group in Los Angeles is seeking an HR Operations Manager to oversee HR operations, systems, reporting, compliance, and process improvements. You will partner with HR leadership, IT, and cross-functional teams to optimize HR processes and leverage technology and automation.

You will lead Workday initiatives, HR analytics, and compliance administration while supervising the HR Operations team, driving data-driven decisions and continuous service enhancements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive HR Operations, HRIS, HR Technology, or related experience.
• Strong Workday or enterprise HRIS experience; functional/business lead experience preferred.
• Experience with HR systems implementations, process improvement, and project management.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, reporting, and data management.
• Advanced Excel and HR reporting/analytics skills.
• Proven leadership and experience supervising and developing employees.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in automation, AI, and emerging HR technologies.
• SHRM, HRCI, PMP, or Workday certification preferred.
• Law firm or professional services experience preferred.
• Base Salary: $140,000 – $160,000 based on experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle processes.
• Serve as a primary HR resource for Workday and other HR technologies.
• Partner with IT and system stakeholders on enhancements, implementations, and process improvements.
• Manage HR reporting, dashboards, workforce metrics, and data integrity.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes through technology, automation, and AI.
• Oversee HR compliance programs, audits, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and support cross-functional HR projects and system implementations.
• Develop and maintain HR procedures, workflows, and best practices.
• Supervise, coach, and develop HR Operations team members.
• Partner with Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Finance, and IT.
• Use data and analytics to identify trends and support business decisions.
• Promote continuous improvement, accountability, and exceptional internal customer service.
