Job summary

South Carolina DDSN is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for an onsite role in York County, SC. In this position, you will support core HR operations, helping keep recruiting, onboarding, evaluations, leave administration, and payroll-related compliance running smoothly for adjunct and temporary hiring.

Working as part of the HR function, you will also prepare documentation and reporting for HR leadership, while coordinating with internal partners such as supervisors and Benefits to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience working in a Human Resources office is required.
• Prior professional HR office experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post vacancies, maintain candidate pools, monitor break-in-service compliance; onboard and coordinate background checks for adjunct and temporary hires.
• Set up evaluation cycles, track completion rates, update position descriptions, and provide technical assistance to supervisors and employees.
• Process non-complex leave transactions and coordinate with Benefits for transfers and payouts; maintain leave activity documentation.
• Monitor timesheet submissions and deadlines; remind supervisors and employees and escalate compliance concerns.
• Coordinate and aggregate records for adjunct/temporary hires, performances, leave entries, and timesheet compliance; prepare reports for HR leadership.
