Job summary

Good Shepherd Services is seeking an HR Specialist to act as the primary contact for assigned programs, guiding candidates through onboarding and collaborating with Talent Acquisition and HR teams to keep processes efficient. You will handle ATS and ADP transactions and respond to general inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma required.
• At least 3 years’ experience in HR Specialist/Generalist or similar HR role.
• Experience with an HRIS system and ATS software.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for assigned programs and maintain relationships with program and support departments.
• Assist candidates through onboarding, including offer letters, onboarding paperwork, collecting and completing I-9 documentation, education and relevant certifications.
• Process transactions in ATS and ADP; coordinate payroll documentation with payroll team.
• Travel weekly to program sites; manage general inquiries via email and HR Hotline.
• Support HR events and New Staff Training; assist with special HR projects and policy updates.
