CHOR Youth & Family Services seeks an Onboarding Specialist to manage onboarding for affiliates, ensuring timely completion of pre-hire requirements and accurate documentation. The role verifies state, federal, and program-specific clearances, communicates readiness, and maintains precise trackers.

The position emphasizes confidentiality, weekly metric reporting, and collaboration with affiliate contacts, Recruitment, and hiring managers to support smooth start dates across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience onboarding, HR administration or documentation-heavy role preferred.
• Experience coordinating screenings, clearances, confidential records in a regulated environment preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and follow approved checklists.
• Proficiency with office software, spreadsheets, electronic document repositories, and data entry; ability to learn HR systems.
• Ability to reconcile records, prepare weekly metric reports, communicate clearly with candidates and affiliate contacts, and safeguard confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned onboarding desk and cases from handoff through clearance and transition to the next owner.
• Track, obtain, and verify state, federal, county, and program-specific clearances.
• Coordinate required medical clearance appointments and submissions.
• Apply approved program and regulatory requirement matrices to ensure proper credentials and training.
• Verify readiness and maintain holds until all approvals are obtained.
• Explain steps, deadlines, and next actions clearly to candidates and affiliates.
• Maintain trackers, dashboards, and system fields; weekly reconciliation.
• Prepare and submit reports on assigned desk metrics by the weekly deadline.
