Job summary

The Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court seeks an Onboarding Specialist to manage the end-to-end onboarding for new hires, promotions, demotions, and transfers. You will ensure integrity and consistency across the onboarding process, including offers, background checks, verifications, education/licensure verification, pre-employment physicals and drug testing, and orientation paperwork.

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Two years of work experience in Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Ensure onboarding procedures comply with hiring standards.
• Extend offers and guide pre-employment steps and background checks.
• Verify prior employment with listed employers and public records.
• Send hire letters and pre-employment forms to candidates.
• Coordinate and review all pre-employment paperwork and file creation.
