Job summary

Hillcrest Health & Living is seeking a Team Member Services Specialist to support our Home Office HR team in Bellevue, NE. You will help with onboarding, benefits, employee records, and other HR processes, acting as a friendly first point of contact for team members and leaders.

You will manage new-hire tasks, maintain accurate records, respond to questions, and assist with payroll updates, leave administration, and reporting. This role emphasizes service, confidentiality, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of Human Resources Generalist or similar broad HR experience preferred.
• Experience onboarding, benefits, employee records, leaves, recruiting, or employee support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate post-offer and pre-onboarding activities for new team members.
• Support the new-hire process and ensure required items are completed on time.
• Assist with the setup and delivery of General Onboarding.
• Support new team members with required documents and onboarding questions.
• Maintain accurate team member records and files.
• Process team member information in HR systems.
• Support payroll-related updates, education records, benefit information, and other data changes.
• Assist with benefit questions and enrollment.
• Process benefit deductions, COBRA items, and related billing.
• Support FMLA and leave-of-absence processes.
• Assist with Workers’ Compensation and unemployment administration.
• Conduct exit interviews with departing team members.
• Prepare and distribute recurring HR and operational reports.
• Track performance reviews, notices, and deadlines.
• Respond to questions in a timely, professional, approachable manner.
• Research questions/issues and use critical thinking to determine next steps.
• Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and experiences.
• Step in to help wherever needed.
