Job summary

Hillcrest Health Services is seeking a Staffing Specialist to support Hillcrest Caring Companions in Bellevue, NE. This role focuses on coordinating schedules, filling shifts, and making thoughtful matches between clients and caregivers while maintaining clear communication with clients and team members.

The candidate should be organized, calm under pressure, and able to manage multiple schedules and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of scheduling or staffing experience.
• Healthcare or home-care environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill daily unassigned shifts with the best available team member based on client needs, skill set, availability and fit.
• Create and maintain monthly team member schedules.
• Match clients with caregivers based on availability, skills and personality.
• Track and confirm schedules to ensure accuracy and coverage.
• Respond to team member calls regarding schedule changes or availability in a solutions-focused manner.
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage to support after-hours scheduling needs.
• Assist with client chart filing and other administrative responsibilities as needed.
