Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to lead branch HR operations in alignment with employment policies, state and federal laws, and company procedures. The role oversees staffing, new hire orientations, benefits enrollment, payroll for hourly and salary staff, investigations, workers compensation, and day-to-day HR activities.

A college degree or equivalent experience is preferred, and MS Office proficiency is expected.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all staffing activities for the branch.
• Conducts all new hire orientations.
• Maintains applicant flow records, employee files, and risk management records.
• Conducts benefits enrollment for the branch.
• Performs payroll functions for both hourly & salary payrolls.
• Conducts investigations related to employee, regulatory complaints or safety related issues.
• Manages all workers compensation claims and participates in employment hearings and/or union negotiations.
• Performs all day-to-day personnel related issues for branch.
• Follow written and verbal instructions. Perform other tasks as directed by supervision.
