Job summary

Omninet Capital is seeking an experienced HR Manager to run employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, and multi‑state compliance across a geographically dispersed workforce.

This role partners with the Chief People Officer and regional leadership, requiring sound judgment, empathy, and the ability to scale processes with technology. Travel about 20% to support property teams and ensure consistent HR practices.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years progressive HR experience with payroll and employee relations.
• Experience in multifamily property management and dispersed workforce.
• Direct experience managing multi-state payroll and labor compliance.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, wage laws).
• Experience supporting hourly or operations-heavy workforces.
• Demonstrates discretion, sound judgment, and sensitive issue handling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for multifamily employee relations matters, including performance issues and investigations.
• Coach managers on employee engagement, documentation, corrective action, and terminations.
• Lead internal investigations with fair, compliant outcomes and support leave management.
• Partner with leadership to strengthen operating norms and HR processes.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee multi-state payroll and compliance, and coordinate with third‑party providers.
