Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts seeks a Director of Payroll & HRIS to lead strategic payroll operations and Dayforce system management for ~25,000 associates across North America. You will drive automation, governance, and continuous improvement in collaboration with HR, Finance, IT, and property leadership.

The role requires a decade of leadership in payroll/HRIS and a proven track record implementing large-scale HR technology and process enhancements in hospitality or similar high-volume settings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Payroll, HRIS, Shared Services, or Human Capital Management.
• Experience supporting large, multi-location organizations with 20,000+ associates.
• Strong expertise with Dayforce HCM, including Payroll, Workforce Management, Reporting, and Analytics.
• Proven success leading payroll operations, automation, HR technology optimization, process improvement, and organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise payroll operations for ~25,000 associates with accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer service.
• Oversee the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the Dayforce platform, including Payroll, Workforce Management, Reporting, and Analytics.
• Continue maximizing the organization's investment in Dayforce through automation, workflow optimization, system enhancements, reporting, and process standardization.
• Champion automation initiatives to simplify business processes, eliminate manual work, and improve operational efficiency across Payroll Shared Services.
• Develop automated solutions for hospitality-specific payroll processes, including gratuities, service charges, tip allocations, IRS 8027 reporting, payroll audits, reconciliations, and compliance.
• Lead enterprise reporting and analytics that provide meaningful business insights and support executive decision-making.
• Lead and develop a high-performing Payroll and HRIS team while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Lead Payroll and HRIS projects, system enhancements, acquisitions, and new property openings while ensuring successful implementation and change management.
• Establish strong governance, internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
• Build collaborative partnerships with Human Resources, Finance, IT, Operations, and external vendors to continuously improve Payroll and HR technology services.
