Job summary

Orbis is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR Operations function, owning onboarding, payroll, benefits, and compliance. You will mentor the Senior HR Generalist, drive policy application, and partner with the VP to manage employee relations and risk across a national multi-state footprint.

You will ensure accurate HRIS data, manage FMLA and state leaves, and lead Open Enrollment while building scalable processes for a growing government-contracting workforce.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience with payroll/benefits and compliance ownership.
• Leadership experience coaching HR team members and guiding managers.
• Experience with FMLA and multi-state leave programs end to end.
• Hands-on HRIS data management, reporting, and payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Senior HR Generalist and oversee onboarding/offboarding end to end.
• Administer FMLA, ADA, and multi-state leave across states with accuracy.
• Own benefits administration, open enrollment, and HR policy guidance.
• Ensure HR compliance and prepare audit-ready reporting and records.
