Job summary

Diez-Group-Kansas-City-LL in North Kansas City, MO seeks an HR Manager to oversee policies, laws and compliance while supporting recruitment, training, payroll and benefits. You will maintain confidential records and drive safety programs, with DOT-regulated drivers handling files as needed.

You will partner with leadership to implement HR programs, train managers, and manage performance processes, career development, and employee relations across the organization.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of employment laws and policies.
• Experience with compensation planning and payroll management.
• Proven ability in recruitment and staffing across roles.
• Experience with employee relations and performance processes.
• Strong communication, confidentiality and leadership skills.
• DOT compliance knowledge is preferred for driver files.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing and timekeeping accuracy.
• Manage recruitment lifecycle and onboarding programs.
• Develop training and staff development initiatives.
• Administer benefits programs and HRIS data integrity.
• Ensure DOT compliance and driver file maintenance.
• Coach managers on performance, discipline and productivity.
