Job summary

The Diez Group in Kansas City, MO seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee policy compliance, payroll accuracy, benefits administration and employee relations. You will drive recruitment, training, performance management and workforce development while maintaining strict confidentiality and professional ethics.

DOT regulations familiarity is a plus. This role partners with management to implement HR programs and ensure legal compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong generalist knowledge in employment law, compensation, organizational planning and employee development.
• Excellent written and spoken communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to lead and develop HR staff and to advise executives.
• Experience with DOT regulatory files is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with company policies and state and federal laws.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits and performance programs.
• Administer leave programs (FMLA, STD, LTD) and benefits administration.
• Coach managers and support employee relations and investigations.
• Maintain confidential personnel records and prepare HR analytics.
