Job summary

You’ll partner with employees, union leadership, and plant management to drive positive employee experiences and efficient operations. This on-site role requires coordinating schedules, training records, and HR processes in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will support attendance, vacations, onboarding, and payroll alignment while managing labor reports for HR

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years in HR, labor scheduling or workforce coordination.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office; familiarity with HR systems (Workday) helpful.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop labor schedules from production plans to support operations.
• Schedule weekly based on qualifications, staffing needs, and availability.
• Coordinate overtime sign-ups, layoffs, and daily overtime opportunities.
• Collaborate with leaders to adjust staffing to meet demand.
• Provide labor/workforce reports to HR and Payroll.
• Coordinate hourly management, union training, and labor committee meetings.
• Maintain training, qualification records and documentation accuracy.
• Administer hourly job bidding, postings, training, and evaluations.
• Support attendance, vacation tracking, and payroll alignment.
• Assist onboarding, unemployment claims, and HR project participation.
