The J.M. Smucker Company, Decatur Meow Mix plant, seeks a Senior HR Coordinator to support HR, payroll, onboarding, and employee engagement.

In this on-site role, you will partner with plant leadership to strengthen culture, operational excellence, and the workforce behind Meow Mix products. Responsibilities include full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing roles, onboarding, maintaining personnel records, processing payroll via Workday, timekeeping accuracy, and HR policy guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years in HR, payroll, recruiting, or related admin work.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments is a plus.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting and interviewing.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing roles.
• Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation.
• Maintain hourly personnel records and documentation.
• Process bi-weekly payroll using Workday.
• Ensure timekeeping accuracy and policy compliance.
• Support HR policies, payroll questions, and time-off administration.
• Assist with employee engagement events and plant initiatives.
• Support reporting, audits, and data analyses for business needs.
