Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a motivated college student for its HR Internship Program based at the Global Headquarters in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. You will gain real-world experience while supporting the HR department.

This internship will involve exposure to HR generalist responsibilities, HRIS administration, and event planning, with a 40-hour summer schedule and part-time school-year commitments. This is an in-office role at Mayfield Heights.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or business, preferably with an HR minor.
• At least two years of undergraduate coursework completed.
• Ability to work in-office in Mayfield Heights, OH.
• Able to start as early as May 2027.
• Available to work onsite 40 hours per week during the summer months (May 2027 - August 2027).
• Available onsite 16-24 hours per week during the school year (August 2027 - May 2028).
• Excellent administrative skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Personable, able to comfortably and pleasantly deal with a variety of people.
• Problem solving capabilities necessary to accomplish the duties and tasks of the position.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Able to provide high-quality customer service through phone calls, email, and face to face interactions.
• Strong project management skills required to support multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• HR generalist responsibilities - talent acquisition, onboarding processes, record keeping and retention, auditing.
• Social Responsibility/Event Planning - team member recognition programs, community outreach/philanthropy, and other events.
• HRIS administration.
• Sort and process incoming resumes.
• Schedule interviews.
• Schedule info sessions and provide resources needed to execute events.
• Market employment opportunities to target audiences.
• Assist in planning and executing summer internship workshops/events.
• Complete assigned research related to college recruiting and generate reports.
• Track progress, deadlines, and priorities of all projects.
• Maintain a satisfied level of customer service with clients both internal and external.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or business
