Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an HR Intern to support talent development initiatives across Industrial Automation and Process Automation. You will partner with HR professionals and leaders on high-impact projects that influence leadership development and talent strategy, and you may lead initiatives while collaborating across HR functions.

The internship begins January 2027, with part-time hours during the academic term and full-time in summer, requiring at least two days on-site in Foxborough.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Psychology, Management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn about talent management, employee development, and organizational effectiveness.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and build relationships.
• Interest in process improvement, change management, or HR program design.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with AI tools, data analysis, or HR technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of a standardized IDP Toolkit to help managers create development plans.
• Research and organize existing talent development resources and platforms.
• Partner with HR Business Partners, leaders, and employees to improve development planning practices.
• Create tools and resources such as development templates and manager guides.
• Assess opportunities to streamline development planning through existing technologies.
• Design recommendations for Talent Exposure & Accelerated Development Programs.
• Research best practices in leadership development and sponsorship.
• Develop frameworks for talent exposure experiences and cross-functional projects.
• Present findings and recommendations to HR leaders and stakeholders.
• Collaborate across Talent Management, Learning & Development, and HR Business Partner teams.
