Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an HR Intern to gain hands-on experience in talent development within Industrial Automation and Process Automation. You will work with HR professionals, business leaders, and employees on leadership development and talent strategy.

The internship starts January 2027, with options to extend. Hybrid schedule requires two days per week in the Foxboro Hub, with up to 17.5 hours during the academic term and up to 40 hours in summer.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Psychology, Management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn about talent management and organizational effectiveness.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to engage stakeholders at different levels.
• Willingness to collaborate across teams and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of a standardized IDP Toolkit for managers.
• Research and organize talent development resources and tools.
• Partner with HR partners, leaders, and employees to assess development practices.
• Create templates, guides, and resource libraries for development planning.
• Assess and streamline development planning processes using existing tech and automation.
• Design recommendations for a Talent Exposure & Accelerated Development Program.
• Research best practices in leadership development, mentoring and sponsorship.
• Develop frameworks for executive sponsorship, roundtables, and stretch projects.
• Present findings and recommendations to HR leaders and stakeholders.
• Collaborate across Talent Management, L&D, HRBP, and business leaders to drive success.
