Job summary

Elemental Brands is seeking an HR Intern to join the Reno Operations Center (ROC). You will learn the employee life cycle from recruitment to retirement, handling HR administrative functions and supporting positive employee experiences.

You will gain hands‑on experience in candidate sourcing, onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS, compliance auditing, and employee engagement initiatives. This role offers practical experience supporting the HR team and daily HR activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; enrolled in higher education in a related field.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
• Good listening and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use tact, initiative, and independent judgment within policy and guidelines.
• Must be organized with strong attention to detail.
• Patient and adaptable in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support HR processes at the Reno Operations Center (ROC) across recruitment, onboarding, benefits, HRIS administration, and compliance.
• Assist with candidate sourcing, resume review, prescreening, and scheduling interviews.
• Support onboarding and new hire documentation and participate in onboarding presentations.
• Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and manage event coordination.
• Assist with insurance processes, 401(k) enrollment, and payroll-related audits as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
