Job summary

VT Industries, Inc. is seeking a part-time HR intern to support the HR team with confidential administrative tasks, data entry, and filing across Corporate and Holstein salaried staff. The role offers exposure to the hiring process and company policies.

You will learn and apply HR best practices, assist with interviews and onboarding, and maintain accurate records while delivering friendly service to employees and applicants. A bachelor's in business or HR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a degree in HR, business, or a related field.
• Junior or Senior standing in the program.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality to protect operations.
• Provide excellent service to employees and applicants.
• Perform administrative tasks: data entry, filing, phones.
• Assist with hiring: greet applicants, tests, interviews, onboarding.
• Maintain electronic personnel files for corporate and Holstein salaried staff.
• Enter hires, transfers, terminations into the HR database.
• Handle other duties as assigned by the manager.
