J.B. Hunt is seeking an HR Intern to gain real-world experience in recruiting, payroll, employee development, and HR policy coordination. Under close supervision, you will screen resumes, organize events, schedule interviews, and help maintain HR systems.

You will post ads, prepare reports, assist with benefits questions, and ensure accurate data entry while supporting a fast-paced HR team. This role is part-time and on-site in Lowell, AR, with potential for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or currently enrolled in a degree program
• Preferred: Office environment experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with resume databases
• Ability to communicate ideas effectively across mediums
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to process information with high accuracy
• Not eligible for employment sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Assist in screening resumes, applications, candidates, and prospects
• Help organize company events and career days
• Assist and schedule interviews with candidates
• Post, update and remove job ads from boards, pages and social networks
• Prepare HR-related reports as needed
• Address employee benefit queries
• Update internal databases with new employee information
• Review and distribute company policies in digital or hard copy
• Perform data entry and validation
