Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a temporary Human Resources Generalist in Rice Lake, WI to cover a brief leave period. You’ll serve as the go-to HR resource for employees and management, handling payroll-related tasks and day-to-day HR operations.

The ideal candidate has payroll experience, strong HR fundamentals, and an organized, confidential approach. This short-term role offers steady work on a day shift, with approximately 8 weeks of assignment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or related role.
• Prior payroll processing experience required.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and employee relations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Process and support weekly payroll activities with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with employee onboarding and new hire documentation.
• Maintain personnel files and HR records with strong attention to detail.
• Respond to employee questions related to payroll, benefits, policies, and procedures.
• Support employee relations initiatives and help resolve workplace concerns.
