Job summary

Executive Director, Inc. seeks a Human Resources Generalist to manage the employee lifecycle, onboarding, payroll processing through ADP Workforce Now, and benefits administration. The role emphasizes confidentiality and accuracy in HR records and policies within a Milwaukee office.

The position requires a Bachelor's in HR, 2–3 years HR experience, and familiarity with ADP and Paycor. Some evening events and local travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; 2–3 years HR experience preferred.
• SPHR/SHRM certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new employees, coordinate orientation and LMS training.
• Process new hire enrollments in health, dental, vision, 401(k) and other benefits.
• Handle employee changes: name, position, desk moves, etc.
• Assist with offboarding, COBRA enrollments, and archiving records.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly benefit invoices for payment.
• Update PTO, STD/LTD, and parking eligibility in benefits programs.
• Run bi-weekly payroll through ADP Workforce Now and manage 401(k) transfers.
• Verify benefit data and resolve enrollment issues with carriers.
• Maintain HRIS data, open enrollment events, and reporting for audits.
• Support recruiting: prescreening calls and background checks as needed.
• Attend career fairs and support other HR/office tasks as needed.
