Job summary

Northcentral Technical College (NTC) in Wisconsin is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to serve as the first contact for employees, applicants and visitors. The role includes recruitment support, onboarding, employee records, leave and benefits, payroll processing, and HR policy compliance.

This on-site position is based in Wausau, WI. The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree in HR/Business Admin (Bachelor's preferred) with experience in Workday/ADP and strong multitasking,

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree (or Equivalent) in HR, Business Admin or related field; Bachelor's preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years in HR or related roles; strong customer service and confidentiality.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday, ADP, ImageNow) and payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees, applicants, supervisors and visitors; provide professional customer service.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes including background checks and offer letters.
• Manage employee records and HR documentation; ensure compliance with policies and laws.
